Philadelphia Orchestra, Yannick Nézet-Séguin, conductor

  • Helzberg Hall | Kauffman Center for the Performing Arts 1601 Broadway Kansas City, MO, 64108 United States (map)

Yannick Nézet-Séguin career as a conductor has been meteoric. But that’s what happens when you’re a natural-born genius. In short order, the 42-year-old has become music director of both The Metropolitan Opera Orchestra and the Philadelphia Orchestra. Nézet-Séguin will conduct the fabulous Philadelphians in Helzberg Hall when he makes his Harriman-Jewell Series debut. Georgian violinist Lisa Batiashvili will join the Orchestra for Tchaikovsky’s popular violin concerto.
