Prelude: The 55th Season Celebration will feature a Kansas City debut performance by the dynamic ensemble: The Four Italian Tenors.

For the first time in the United States, The Four Italian Tenors perform the greatest tenor arias and songs of all time, in wonderful unique arrangements, created particularly for their U.S. debut tour. Their performances are captivating, exhilarating, passionate, engaging and mesmerizing, and their voices are magnificent!  This new generation of world-class tenors explore and present beloved classics with panache, verve, and vivacity, all in their own inimitable style.

A newly formed ensemble, the quartet is comprised of Alessandro D’Acrissa, Federico Serra, Federico Parisi, and Roberto Cresca. Their collective biography boasts a recording artist, television and radio star, operatic aficionado, and multiple concert prize winners. All are well-versed operatic performers and regularly appear in their native Italy in opera and recital.

Their debut performance at Prelude: The 55th Season Celebration will pay tribute to the historic recital debut of Luciano Pavarotti presented by the Harriman-Jewell Series in 1973, with recognizable opera arias and songs specifically programmed to include pieces Pavarotti sang during his international recital debut with the Series.
