This season, we welcome the long-awaited return of Khatia Buniatishvili, the prominent Georgian pianist known for her exceptional talent, captivating performances, and expressive interpretations of classical music. She made her Kansas City and Harriman-Jewell Series debut in 2019 (with an audience representing patrons from 20 states in attendance) and we are thrilled she will make her highly anticipated return in our 60th Anniversary Season! 

Buniatishvili has gained international recognition for her extraordinary musical abilities and has performed and collaborated with many prestigious orchestras and conductors around the world. Her repertoire includes works by classical composers such as Franz Liszt, Frédéric Chopin, Sergei Rachmaninoff, Ludwig van Beethoven, and many others.

She has won numerous awards and accolades throughout her career, including the Borletti-Buitoni Trust Award in 2010, which recognizes exceptional young musicians. Buniatishvili's performances are known for their passion, technical brilliance, and emotional depth, captivating audiences and critics alike.
